Import Reviews from G2, Google, Trustpilot and More into Your Testimonial Wall
You already have great reviews. They're sitting on G2, Google, Trustpilot, the App Store, and the Play Store — scattered across platforms where your website visitors will never see them.
The average B2B buyer checks 3-4 review sites before making a purchase decision. But most of those buyers never leave your website to go look. If your social proof isn't visible where they're already browsing, it doesn't exist to them.
ShoutHive lets you import those reviews and display them alongside your other testimonials — on your wall, in popups, and in curated collections.
Which Platforms Are Supported?
ShoutHive can import reviews from five major platforms:
- G2 — B2B software reviews. Enter your G2 product URL and ShoutHive fetches your reviews with star ratings, author details, and review dates.
- Google Reviews — Google Maps business reviews. Search for your business by name — ShoutHive finds it automatically using Google's autocomplete — then import reviews with ratings and author info.
- Apple App Store — iOS app reviews from Apple's public feed. Enter your App Store listing URL to fetch user reviews with star ratings.
- Google Play Store — Android app reviews. Enter your Play Store listing URL to import reviews with ratings and dates.
- Trustpilot — Consumer reviews. Enter your Trustpilot business URL to fetch reviews with star ratings and author info.
How to Import Reviews
The import flow takes about 60 seconds:
- Open the import modal — click "Import Reviews" on your Testimonials page
- Pick a platform — choose from the grid of supported platforms
- Enter your URL — paste your product or business URL (for Google Reviews, just type your business name and select from autocomplete)
- Preview reviews — ShoutHive fetches your reviews and displays them in a preview list. Reviews you've already imported are flagged as duplicates so you don't import them twice.
- Select and import — check the reviews you want (or select all), then click import. They land in your review queue as pending.
That's it. Approve the ones you like, and they show up on your wall with star ratings displayed.
Star Ratings on Your Wall
Imported reviews keep their star ratings. When displayed on your testimonial wall or in popups, star ratings appear as amber stars below the author name — matching the look visitors expect from review sites.
ShoutHive also maps star ratings to sentiment automatically:
- 4-5 stars → marked as praise, high relevance
- 3 stars → marked as neutral
- 1-2 stars → marked as negative feedback
This means your review queue sorts imported reviews the same way it sorts discovered mentions — positive reviews rise to the top.
CSV Import for Everything Else
Have reviews from a platform ShoutHive doesn't connect to directly? Or migrating from another testimonial tool? Use CSV import.
- Export your reviews as a CSV file from the source platform or tool
- Open the import modal and choose "Upload CSV"
- Drag and drop your file (up to 5MB)
- ShoutHive auto-detects common column names like "name", "content", "rating", and "date"
- Adjust the column mapping if needed, preview a few rows, and import
CSV import supports mapping to author name, review content, star rating, posted date, and source URL. Every imported row gets a unique identifier based on its content, so re-importing the same CSV won't create duplicates.
Why Import Instead of Just Linking?
You might wonder: why not just link to your G2 or Trustpilot page?
Three reasons:
- Visitors leave your site. A link to G2 sends the buyer away from your pricing page. An embedded wall keeps them on your site, surrounded by your messaging and CTAs.
- You control the narrative. Not every review is glowing. Import the ones that tell your best story and leave the "it's okay" reviews on the review site.
- Unified social proof. Your wall can show a G2 review next to a Reddit mention next to a video testimonial from a happy customer. That diversity of sources is more convincing than any single platform.
Combining Imports with Auto-Discovery
Import and discovery complement each other:
- Import brings in existing reviews from structured platforms — reviews that already exist and aren't going anywhere
- Auto-discovery finds new organic mentions on social media — praise that customers post without being asked
Together, they give you a testimonial wall that's both deep (years of accumulated reviews) and fresh (new mentions discovered weekly). Your wall never feels stale because discovery keeps adding to it automatically.
