1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ShoutHive ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, free trial users, and paying customers.

2. Description of Service

ShoutHive is a SaaS platform that automatically discovers brand mentions and testimonials from public social media platforms (Reddit, X, Threads, TikTok), provides AI-powered analysis and curation tools, and offers embeddable widgets for displaying approved testimonials on your website.

The Service also includes: collection forms for gathering testimonials directly from customers; video testimonial pages with webcam recording and file upload; email campaigns for sending testimonial requests; paste-a-link import for adding social media posts by URL; review platform imports from G2, Google Reviews, Capterra, App Store, Play Store, and Trustpilot; smart collections with auto-filter rules; and social proof popups for your website.

3. Account Registration

You must be at least 16 years old to use ShoutHive. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Free Trial & Billing

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. After the trial period, you must purchase the Lifetime Deal to continue using the Service.

The Lifetime Deal is a one-time payment that grants you permanent access to all ShoutHive features. "Lifetime access" means access for as long as ShoutHive continues to operate as a commercial service. There is no recurring subscription — your purchase is a single charge with no monthly or annual renewals.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with ShoutHive, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked, by contacting us at legal@shouthive.com. After a refund is processed, your account is terminated and your data is deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Fair-Use Policy

The Lifetime Deal includes unlimited keywords and mentions under a fair-use policy. Fair use means normal, single-brand usage for one business. Specifically:

  • Keywords — up to 10 active search keywords at a time. If you need more, contact us.
  • Mentions — no hard cap on discovered mentions. We reserve the right to throttle accounts that generate sustained, abnormally high volumes (e.g. scraping or reselling data).
  • Single brand — one ShoutHive account covers one brand or product. Running multiple brands requires separate accounts.
  • Widgets — unlimited wall, popup, and collection widgets for your own website(s).
  • Team members — up to 5 members per organization. If you need more, contact us.

We will always reach out before taking any action on an account. If your usage exceeds fair use, we'll work with you to find a solution.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Fabricate, alter, or misrepresent testimonials displayed through ShoutHive widgets
  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or infringe upon the rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the source code of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent

7. Content & Testimonials

ShoutHive discovers publicly available content from social media platforms. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving testimonials before they appear on your website. You must ensure that displaying any testimonial complies with applicable laws, including obtaining consent where required. ShoutHive provides permission tracking tools but does not guarantee legal compliance.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by ShoutHive and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data and content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and display your data as necessary to provide the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShoutHive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
